Children's Corporate Communications Department provides a wide range of services to meet the needs of both internal and external customers in a variety of areas. Corporate Communications is responsible for generating and distributing timely and accurate information about Children's Health System. The department handles all of the Health System's public relations, media relations, public affairs, advertising, marketing and internal communications. The department also produces all printed materials for both on and off campus constituencies.

Our office is located on the first floor of the Plaza Building at Magnolia Office Park at 2112 11th Avenue South in Birmingham. Office hours are weekdays from 7:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.

General and specific media inquiries should be directed to the media relations representative who is on call around-the-clock by calling 205-939-9100. To protect the privacy rights of Children's patients and their families, a member of the Corporate Communications team must accompany any member of the news media visiting our hospital or satellite offices.
